What is IntimaBalance?
IntimaBalance is an online counselling practice specialising in couples therapy, intimacy issues, and sex therapy. Sessions are offered virtually, making support accessible no matter where you are.

Who do you work with?
I work with individuals and couples who want to strengthen their relationships, improve intimacy, or navigate challenges such as desire differences, communication breakdowns, or sexual health concerns. I also provide support for clients in ethical non-monogamy (ENM) relationships.

How are sessions conducted?
All sessions are conducted online via secure video platforms, giving you flexibility and privacy. You can join from your home, office, or any private space with internet access.

Do you offer services worldwide?
Yes. Since my practice is virtual, I work with clients from different countries. Please note that sessions are conducted in English and Afrikaans.

How long are sessions?

Individual counselling: 55 minutes

How do I book a session?
You can book directly through the “Book an Appointment” button on the website. Once scheduled, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link and an intake form to complete before the session.

Are sessions confidential?
Yes. Everything shared in sessions remains confidential, within the ethical and legal guidelines of professional practice. Your privacy and trust are my priority.

Do you prescribe medication?
No. As a counsellor, I do not prescribe medication. If needed, I work collaboratively with medical professionals, such as urologists or general practitioners, to support your holistic care.

Do you work with men’s health concerns?
Yes. Through collaboration with the Men’s Health Institute, I provide counselling support for issues such as erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, low libido, and the relational/psychological impact of these conditions

How much does it cost?
Session fees are listed on the Services page. All pricing is per session (no packages required).

What qualifications do you have?
I hold a B.Ed (Senior Phase & FET) with majors in Psychology, English, and Afrikaans, and a BA Honours in Psychology (NQF Level 8).
I am an Accredited Member of ACCPH (AMACCPH) and have completed specialised certifications in:
