Relationship and Intimacy Counselling for individuals and couples

Distance, resentment, intimacy difficulties, or broken trust can leave a relationship feeling raw, uncertain, and exhausting. Even when both people care, it can begin to feel like nothing is changing.

A calm place to begin

Not every relationship struggle looks dramatic from the outside. Sometimes it feels like a distance that has slowly grown, conversations that keep missing each other, intimacy that has become tense or uncertain, or the quiet sense that something important is no longer working.

This is a confidential online space to slow things down, understand what is happening more clearly, and begin finding steadier ways to communicate, reconnect, and move forward.

About Cecilia

Cecilia Engelbrecht - Relationship and Intimacy Counsellor

I offer online counselling for adults and couples who are navigating relationship strain, intimacy concerns, emotional disconnection, desire differences, and important relationship transitions.

My approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded. I aim to create a space where people feel safe enough to speak honestly, understand patterns more clearly, and begin moving forward with greater steadiness and connection.

My background includes education and psychology, together with specialised training in intimacy work, couples counselling, and sexual concerns. I care deeply about offering support that is respectful, inclusive, and professionally grounded.

About

How counselling works

You can begin with a free 15-minute introduction if you would like to ask questions and get a feel for the process. From there, we move into an initial session to understand what is happening, what feels difficult, and what kind of support would be most helpful. Ongoing sessions focus on communication, patterns, boundaries, connection, and practical next steps. Where another kind of support is needed, referral onward may be recommended.

When other support may be needed

At times, clients may be encouraged to seek medical, psychiatric, legal, or specialist support alongside or instead of counselling. Clear boundaries help make the work safer, steadier, and more trustworthy.
